Been a long while since I made an anime style head. You kinda forget how much more work it is painting those big shiny eyes. *lol* Here’s Safira, a NDR elf head freshly upped on ebay:

Her outfit will be completed for another project. Am in the process of figuring out some armor to go over that…

Here’s another recent paint…”Willow”, a Obitsu #3 head:

I sewed the peasant shirt following a tutorial for people sized clothing. It was meant for a much slimmer 1/6th Obitsu body but turned out too large. Goes to show that dividing human sizing by 6 doesn’t always work. ^^;

This headmold is pretty flat compared to other male heads out there. *_* I used a terracotta pastel to shade but it left orange stains; even pure acetone couldn’t remove it. Ugh!! I blended some blue (Col-erase) pencil crayon pigment over those areas to tone down the colour. Guess it looks somewhat better now..

From certain angles, he sorta reminds me of Vincent Cassel’s character in Brotherhood of the Wolf. Freaky! XD Anyway, if this head sells, he’ll be the first victim for my “Bring a BJD (Ball Joint Doll) Home” campaign. Screw getting a new sewing machine! I’ll just avoid difficult fabrics..like knits and such. ToT

Now to figure out how to seal this faceup nicely. XP

Miz Nameless-Two-Tails decided she didn’t want to pursue a career as a maid. Instead, she pilfered Miz Babs’ outfit, became a loli in training and named herself “Emeline”. (Miz Babs is currently nekkid and is in hiding with her bad hairdo.) Also redid a bit of Corine’s face. Apparently dried paint doesn’t stick on NDR vinyl well..I didn’t seal it soon enough and ended up rubbing the paint off. -_-;; (Sorry for the crap quality photos. These were taken at night and most required substantial editing.)

Well, summer’s officially over for me, and it’s back to the rat race. For those of you in a similar situation, best of luck and keep your goals in sight. Minnasan, ganbatte kudasai!
