This is “Felicity”, a Perfect Body Caucasian repaint. The vinyl’s speckled texture makes it look like she has pores. XD She’s got such a generous, lovely lip sculpt too. I purposely painted one eyebrow more arched than the other in attempt to give her an amused, “oh really?” expression. Her eyes were glazed with gloss varnish for realism. While it made the eyes look nice in person, it was rather a pain in the butt to photograph. But that may just be a lack of knowledge on my part. At first I was ambivalent towards this sculpt..I didn’t like the elongated face and the original lip paint, but now I want to repaint another to keep.

The Neo Goh #2 head is probably my favourite male sculpt. (I think it lends itself very well to characters with a domineering attitude.) I decided to let loose painting this one…relying on instinct, not thinking too much, not revising along the way. Sort of like a visual version of free writing. The result may not appeal to everyone, but the mood, the subdued palette are the kind of things I’m drawn to…

Today is such a nice, warm day for a change…think I will go bake bread. ^____^

The first step in customizing a CY/Cool Girl is stripping her of the default outfit. Sounds easy right? Maybe. But boy, did that bodysuit put up resistance. I had a heck of a time trying to get it over her feet, even after removing the soles. T_T Maybe I’m just stupid, but isn’t there a way to remove the feet entirely?

The boot sleeves don’t seems too difficult to make. Almost like socks. Then I guess making doll boots in general shouldn’t be that much of a stretch. Wheeee, time to sacrifice those Barbie shoes.

Hmm..she’s definitely gonna be rerooted. The hair is just so dry and stiff, not like saran at all. Then a repaint. Her premolded eyewells are soooo friggin’ tiny though! Even smaller than the Obitsu ones. >oD Speaking of her, my mom keeps referring to her as a “cowboy”. Ok, her English isn’t the best. It must be the hat. 9_9 Come to think of it…I kinda want a 1/6th horse now…
